All you have to do is highlight any name on a web page and see matching information from Wink, LinkedIn, Wikipedia, Facebook, Google News, Technorati, Yahoo Person Search, Spock, WikiYou, ZoomInfo, IMDB, MySpace and more...

Find people on Twitter

Twellow is a great resource for finding people on Twitter, as pretty much every Twitter user is listed there.
















You may search for people on Twellow by category, name, or keyword (city, profession, interest, etc.).

Spokeo

Spokeo can scan your contacts and find them all over the social networks.















It has many free results, but to see all you must pay.

I have to say that it is probably the only search tool I would pay for.

PeekYou

PeekYou allows you to search for people across all the social networks.
















PeekYou allows you to find people on the social networks by name, interests, work, school, etc.

It is an excellent people finding tool.

Naymz is a great website for finding people on a professional level.














Unfortunately, not very many people have realized the usefulness of Naymz yet, so you won't find as many people there as you would on Linkedin, etc.

Find people on Linkedin

Linkedin has a great advanced search feature that allows you to find people easily.

You can search for a person or business under:

Keyword

Location

First Name, Last Name

Title

Company

Industry

School

Group

Interests

Language

Time joined

, and sort all results by relevance, relationship, or keyword.

Linkedin has one of the best search tools I have ever used.

Another great option for finding people on Linkedin is 123 people:

123 People will give you results from the web, public records, microblogs (Twitter), and social networks such as Linkedin and Facebook.

Find People on My Space

Finding friends on My Space is relatively easy with the standard search tool that they offer.














It allows you to search for friends by their name, display name (or nickname), or their e-mail address.

You can even allow the program to search your e-mail to find friends who are on My Space.


Another option is 123 people.















123 People will give you results from the web, public records, microblogs (Twitter), and social networks such as Linkedin,Facebook and My Space.

Finding People on Facebook

Facebook has a basic search that allows you to look people by name, but there are other tools.

You may search by name on the basic search.

Domaintools

Domaintools is the single greatest people finding website out there.














If you have a company's website address, you most likely have access to the most important person in the company.

DomainTools has the information as to the person who manages the domain name for the website. If they do not have privacy on the domain name, the information is available.

This information includes the business address, phone, name of administrator (normally the CEO, or owner of the company, as anyone intelligent does not allow someone else to control something so important), and finally, the e-mail address of this person.

The e-mail address is normally the information that is most up-to-date, as no one wants to lose their domain name, and they must be notified if anything happens with it.

I use DomainTools every day. It is the most important tool for me.

Hot Frog

Hot Frog is a directory of businesses in the USA, that allows you to search for businesses and products by location.

















This is not a people finding website, it is a business finding website.

The results are sorted by distance from the location you input, and include business name, products offered, business address, and business phone.

You could easily use this information in a sales capacity to create a list of companies to approach for a certain product in a certain area.

Lead 411

Lead 411 is a great people finding website, that also allows you to search for businesses.














You can search by a person's name, and it will bring up the information on the business where they work, their title, e-mail (not free), phone, city and state.














If you put a company name (or part of it), you will get results with the city and phone.











You may then click on a business, and it will give you more specific information, including business address, business phone number, company website, business fax number, as well as information about the business, and information on key people at the company.

Lead 411 is an excellent tool for finding businesses, and people at those businesses.
